The September Edition of the Lookfantastic Beauty Box has arrived and it’s all about celebrating beauty and as the weather takes a change to the cooler elements, the darker nights start to set in and we bid goodbye to Summer.
This months box includes 6 products and has a little bit of everything from skincare and hair care to makeup and lip care, products that give you the opportunity to really have a good pampering session and a few treats to get you ready for a night out with friends.
First out of the box is the Smoothing Body Exfoliant from Ameliorate, a brand I feel I should know more about than I do because I see so many people raving about it.
This Smoothing Body Exfoliant is described as being the product which is designed to reveal even, radiant skin. It is powered by gentle AHAs such as lactic acid and it helps to gently buff away dead cells as well as helping to lock in that vital moisture the skin that appears soft and supple. Plus, it also helps to condition dryness to reveal a much smoother skin surface.
The second product from this months box is from 3ina, pronounced Mee-na and it is a brown liquid pen eyeliner.
Easy to use and grip, this liquid pen eyeliner has a superfine precision tip that glides across the lash line with relative ease to give you that perfect wing or cat eye flick, depending on your preference.
From Beauty Pro we have the third product within the box and this time it is the Brightening Sheet Mask. I am a big fan of sheets masks from Beauty Pro and if you are a fan, you will be delighted to know they have their very own Advent Calendar! This Brightening Collagen Sheet Mask with Vitamin C is described as being an anti-ageing treatment that is suitable for all skin types. It is, as the name might suggest, soaked in Marine Collagen, Vitamin C and there is also a mixture of herbs and botanicals included too. Coming together, these ingredients work to combat fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation reducing their appearance to reveal a youthful and radiant complexion.
The fourth product is for the hair and it comes from Christophe Robin, a brand I am yet to find a product from that I dislike. The product in this months box is the Hydrating Melting Mask.
This Hydrating Melting Mask, which sounds like it should be something you apply to your skin, is for the hair. Designed to leave hair feeling hydrated and supple, this light mask dissolves into each strand quickly, producing a more moisturised and conditioned result. It uses a blend of vitamins who help to ensure that every part of the hair is equally nourished, whilst at the same time, amino acids work to repair areas of damage and minimise the loss of moisture. Flaxseed oil helps to fortify locks and build elasticity.
The fifth product within this months box comes from SVR with their Palpebral by Topialyse Eye Cream.
Described as being a gentle treatment for dry and easily irritated skin. This cream provides 24 hours of hydration, the velvety eye cream helps to reduce redness, ease discomfort and strengthen the skin’s natural barrier function to protect against harmful environmental toxins. The delicate eye area feels thoroughly soothed, moisturised and comfortable.
The final item in this box comes from ByTerry with their Baume De Rose Flaconnette and this is one of my most re-purchased products from ByTerry in recent years.
This rose scented balm is infused with Shea Butter, Rose Flower Essential Wax and antioxidant Vitamin E, the creamy lip gloss glides on effortlessly to coat every curve and contour with a sheer, subtle shine without being tacky or sticky. I have found it a delight to wear under a facemask when being out of the house
So there you have the September edition of the LFBeauty Box and it is one of the best boxes we have had for some time. It has a little bit of everything in there from some incredible brands.
