Living Proof has the most amazing range of hair care and I cannot tell you how much I cannot live without their Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo, it is incredible. However, their latest launch the Living Proof Scalp Care Revitalising Treatment arrived through my letter box some times ago now and I adore it. For me, scalp care is an issue that isn’t talked about enough, though I do my best to share my own issues, products to help soothe, improve and manage the best I can. My scalp is okay 80% of the time, but problems flare up when I am stressed, not feeling great or something had irritated it, at which point my head itches, it is sore, my scalp flakes and to date, I can count on one hand which products I’ve found helpful.

From pollution to hormones, diet, stress and even the climate, life takes it toll on your scalp and any build-up can cause dryness, itching, discomfort and even hair loss!
So what is the Living Proof Scalp Care Revitalising Treatment? It is a treatment which is powered by Living Proofs very own targeted Healthy Follicle Complex. This night time treatment is designed to get to the root of hair thinning by fighting environmental stressors like some of those mentioned above. The result of using this product is fuller, thicker, healthier-looking hair that stays put.
This treatment is designed for use by any hair type experiencing thinning hair or anyone who wishes to promote thicker, healthier-looking hair from the root. The Healthy Follicle Complex is described as being a technology that acts like fertiliser for your scalp. Using yeast proteins and zinc salts to promote strengthening the hair at the root while encapsulated time-released actives nourish the hair strands, roots and the scalp. Jojoba Esters and vitamins nourish and moisturise the scalp whilst helping to restore the barrier function for prolonged balanced hydration and scalp care. There is also a peptide blend which plumps hair fibres helping to increase hair diameter for a fuller look and feel.
What I love about this treatment is that it just becomes part of your routine. It is designed to be used on either wet or dry hair and all you need to do is part your hair into sections and apply directly to the scalp and once applied, you don’t need to rinse the product out and I’ve been using it daily for just over a month and whilst I have combination oily hair which means greasy roots and dry ends, I have noticed any issue or problem that has risen from using this leave-in treatment, but my scalp is notably less irritated and stressed. Plus, this treatment comes with its own little massage brush for extra soothing and TLC.
Priced at £25 for 100ml, I’ve already purchased a back up tube ready for when this one runs out, I have a feeling it is now a product I won’t be able to live without!
