This months edition of the Time Of Your Life (TOYL) Beauty Box is all serums and the role they play within your skincare routine and their importance. For a very long time now, I have used serums as part of my routine, as well as keeping your skin hydrated and moisturised they can have a whole host of other benefits such as treating discolouration, dullness, fine lines, or in some cases acne.
Serums can be expensive and this months beauty box from TOYL contains two of the most expensive serums on the market alongside three other products to test and try alongside your serums! The first product out of the box comes from BioEffect with their EGF Serum and just 5ml is priced at £50!
Described as being a ground-breaking anti-ageing treatment that delivers significant, visibly noticeable results. This serum utilises a plant-based replica of EGF (a naturally occurring human protein) and it works to effectively reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and the appearance of pores while at the same time improving radiance. It absorbs incredible quickly into skin without being sticky or tacky and it is incredibly moisturising as it works to restore and rehydrate the skin as well as to diminish the look of sun damage and dry spots.
The second serum within this box comes from Rodial with their Bee Venom Super Serum, which is £60 for just 10ml.
This serum is said to use only the most powerful anti-ageing properties and ingredients do include bee venom whose job it is to reduce expression lines and decrease muscle contractions, bio marine collagen 6 which works to promote the skin’s elasticity, and something called marimoist which helps with long-lasting hydration. Further ingredients include P-cell which provides a lifting effect by increasing the skin’s elasticity and firming up its tone, while at the same time sodium hyaluronate acts to instantly plump fine lines and wrinkles. Putting all of these ingredients together, it is said the Rodial Bee Venom Super Serum perfects, illuminates and revitalises the skin.
So those are the two serums which are featured within this box and they are definitely pricey but I am really enjoying the BioEffect EGF Serum! The final three products within the box help to get the best out of your skincare, especially serums.
Starting with Magnitone Wipe Out Supernaturals 100% Bamboo Cleansing Cloth.
The 100% natural Bamboo Fibre cloths are designed to remove makeup, skincare and SPf with just long-wear makeup with just warm water. These cleansing cloths feature a microfibre finish that expands when wet to trap makeup particles. The final item within this months box is from a brand I’ve never come across before called Sensory Retreat with the Dreamy Self-Heating Eye Mask.
These masks are designed to help you switch off, relax and completely unwind with its soothing and calming jasmine scent. Spending more and more time in front of screens - iPad, Laptop, Desktop, Kindle and even phone screens can leave your eyes feeling fatigued and in need of some TLC and these masks are perfect for just that.
