Burt's Bees® NEW Squeezy Tinted Balms

I don’t know of many people who have never come across a product from the Butt’s Bees range, particular the lip balms, which I always have in my handbag and makeup up. Just when you think those balms couldn’t get any better, they have - this time in their new Squeezy tubes.
Burt's Bees® NEW Squeezy Tinted Balms
Described as being a hydrating hint of colour with a burst of flavour, these Burt’s Bees® new Squeezy Tinted Balms are designed to both moisturise and nourish your lips, while at the same time delivering a healthy-looking shine.

As they are made by Burt’s Bees, they are formulated with responsibly-sourced Beeswax and hydrating Cocoa Butter, with a hint of natural colour and there is a choice of shade and flavour:
  • Watermelon Rush,
  • Mandarin Granita,
  • Berry Sorbet
  • Sweet Peach.
I have all four products which I have loved playing with over the last few weeks. As an avid fan of lip balm and being particularly fond of Burt’s Bees, these did take a bit of getting used too, but they are simply brilliant.

The Squeezy tubes work better when you have warm hands rather than cold to get the balm moving inside the tube and you need just a small amount to be applied to your lips. The balm itself isn’t as sticky or tacky as I had expected it to be, infact it wasn’t sticky at all.

The swatch above, which is completely unedited, features all of the shades. Starting with Sweet Peach which is the lightest colour pay off but it smells just amazing. Then we have Mandarin Granita which is much more of a vibrant orange shade. The final two shades Watermelon Rush and Berry Sorbet look very similar at a first glance, but on the lips, Berry Sorbet is a deeper red shade and is the one which has the best longevity.

Each one of these balms is priced at £5.99 and you can find them via Burt's Bees website.

Selfridges have released their latest Project Earth beauty bag 2.0* and it is absolutely insane value for money. SELFRIDGES Project Earth beauty bag 2.0
The Selfridges Project Earth Commitment is about questioning the past, present and future of sustainability for Selfridges. The belief is that together, through our daily actions, we can create a more sustainable future for people and the planet and we do that by questioning everything from the way we shop to science, conservation, the clothes we wear, how clothes are made and so much more. So there is absolutely something to think about everytime you shop, make a purchase or even discard something you own.
Take one reusable pouch (crafted from kraft paperboard, lined with cotton and topped with a secure zip), fill it with 16 good-for-the-planet beauty must-haves and what do you get? Charlotte Tilbury Glowgasm Lips - Glittergasm

As well as wanting absolutely everything Pillow Talk, the latest product to capture my attention is the Charlotte Tilbury Glowgasm Lips and having been initially torn over which colour to choose, I opted for the shade Glowgasm which is described as being a pink sparkle.

As you might expect, it comes exceptionally packed and the lipstick casing, instead of being the signature gold, is a beautiful light blush pink holographic shade and if I am honest, I much prefer it!

These Crystal balms are described as being transparent bullets of lip-plumping balm which feature Charlotte’s new, glow-glide texture to deliver a gorgeous wash of glow leaving the lips looking plumped and just been kissed. Featuring pH-adaptive technology to flatter your lips with a natural veil of hydrating, light-scattering pigment. Once on the lips, both shades change into your personalised shade of pink or red based on your natural lip color, warmth, moisture, and as already mentioned, the all important pH level.

Glittergasm, the shade I chose, is a clear lipstick which is packed with sprinkles of gold glitter that transforms into the most delightful perfect shade of pink. The swatch above shows the shade of pink on my hand, but on my lips, it slightly lighter to a very light pink which I absolutely love. Now I am debating purchasing Jewelgasm to see which shade of red I get, mainly because I was once told that a red lip is just not the colour that I should wear and after that comment I never have, so this could be my shade.

Glittergasm from Charlotte Tilbury is priced at £22 and you can find it via Charlotte Tilbury, Cult Beauty and John Lewis.
