The second product from Temple Spa is a recently launched product in the form of an Eau de Toilette. My Essence is described as being inspired by the warmth and vibrancy of the Mediterranean.

As a fragrance, I was expecting to find something that was more akin to the scent of a spa, but that wasn’t what I got at all. 

This fragrance has some beautiful notes which includes the zesty top notes of bergamot & petitgrain, blooms which opened the fragrance with quite the zing and one you immediately notice, then as it begins to settle, the heart of jasmine, neroli & rose absolute comes to life to give this fragrance the most wonderful rich floral aroma whilst not totally dismissing the citrus notes. Finally, it rests on a base of cedarwood and amber which are warm, rich, comforting and add depth to the fragrance. 

On the skin and clothes, the longevity surprised me because I wasn’t expecting it to be long lasting at all, but it does give you at least 6 hours wear time before the need to re-apply. Impressive for fragrances these days - though of course it does depend on how the fragrance sits with your own skin oils.  Priced at just £45 for 50ml here, it is a scent with a difference and definitely not one you would expect!

How To Match Your Shoes To Your Hobbies?

It stands to reason that you should replace your shoes when they start wearing out, but before committing to a new purchase the first- time you spot a pair of Nike shoes for sale, it is a very good idea to take stock of your lifestyle, and to see whether that which you enjoyed at the time when you bought your old pair of shoes, is still an important part of your life. The reason for this is that your shoes should match the purpose for which they are bought, and if your activities no longer match your shoes, it might be worthwhile to update the type of shoes you are considering for purchase.

One word of caution – take care when you see a pair of shoes for sale that looks great, but is impractical in your real-life application. Look for something that is built to support your interests, whether that is hiking, running, or even a job that keeps you on your feet.

Function over appearance!

Everyone likes the idea of cute shoes, or “cool” shoes at best, but if they are lacking in comfort or protective value, steer clear. The safety and comfort of your feet take priority over everything else, and if you are going to spend your hard-earned money on a pair of shoes, doesn’t it make more sense for you to buy something with integrity, and which will last a long time?

Nothing, but nothing comes close to ill-fitting shoes when it comes to defining extreme discomfort. Shoes that do not fit well, or which are unsuitable for the application that you need them for, will never last. Additionally, you put yourself at great risk of injury by wearing shoes of this description.

Remember that you need to buy your shoes according to purpose – hiking shoes for hiking, running shoes for running, and that there is no reason or excuse to wear the wrong shoe for the job!

Start with what you know.

No-one knows your life and hobbies better than you do, and to be honest, who better to make decisions about your life and your wellbeing than you? While you don’t want to overspend on a pair of Nike shoes for sale that aren’t right for your needs, you also don’t want to UNDER spend, as you then put yourself at risk of buying shoes of inferior quality, which could wear out in a very short period of time, or which could end up hurting you. Never buy inferior shoes for long-term usage, as you will make up for it in injury time.

Research before committing.

Knowledge is power and knowing what you want before going out and buying the first best pair of shoes, will save you a lot of time, money and pain in the long run. Use the abundance of customer reviews that are available online to your advantage and to help you make up your mind. There is nothing like a factual account based on real-life experience to put your own opinion into perspective! Arm yourself with knowledge before committing, and you will never regret it.
