M&S Beauty: Rosie For Autograph Lipsticks

One of my favourite products from the Rosie For Autograph range is the Cream Eyeshadows (review here). Exclusive to Marks and Spencer, the Rosie for Autograph make-up range has been developed in collaboration with Rosie Huntington Whiteley who is a model, actress, designer, and now businesswoman, perhaps for many it is her time as a Victoria's Secret Angel that her name rings a bell. Using Rosie's make up tips and secrets combined with high-quality ingredients, this range is said to have been inspired by Rosie’s career and her love of vintage.

Lipsticks are one of my very favourite things, it can change the way a whole face of make up looks and whilst I am not a bold red wearing type of person, I do love discovering shades that I might not have ordinarily have worn. I was kindly sent four of the Rosie for Autograph lipsticks and they are described as being hydrating, comfortable to wear with long-lasting intense colour. What I love about these lipsticks is they are enriched with Argan Oil, so they really are moisturising and the colour payoff is equally impressive.

With their stunning rose gold packaging and metallic closure which gives a satisfying click to indicate the lipstick is properly closed, the lipsticks themselves have an embossed rose delicately carved into the lipstick which I think is a really nice finishing touch to what is a beautiful product. When it comes to the formula, I love how smooth and easy to apply these are. They are comfortable to wear and much more long-lasting than you might assume and like most lipsticks, their longevity does depend on how much you eat, drink and use your lips.

The shades I have are Dolly Baby, Silk Rose, Camisole Blush and Rosie's Lips and each lipstick, as you can see from the swatches is beautiful:

  • Rosie Lips is a berry shade which I adore, almost burgundy but not quite, it applies like a dream, doesn't drag across the lips and is one of the longest lasting shades I've tried.
  • Dolly Baby is a beautiful rose coloured nude pink and not usually a shade I would ordinarily pick up, but I really like this one, the perfect daytime shade.
  • Silk Rose is for me a pinky brown shade and I can't quite decide whether it suits me or not, but I love the colour payoff and I like that it works with most skin tones.
  • Camisole Blush is for me a muted nude shade, my favourite of all four lipsticks and the one I find myself reaching for a lot.

Every shade I have so far tried is incredible wearing, there are no shades I would shy away from and each lipstick is cruelty-free, paraben free, vegan and vegetarian friendly and are dermatologically tested. Priced at £14 per lipstick (here) they are definitely not to be overlooked and put some of my high-end lipsticks to shame with the amazing formula, coverage, pigment and longevity.

How a Hotel Spa at Glasglow, Reenergized My Body?

We are four best friends and all are busy with their personal lives. One of us is a banker, one goes to teach, another runs a grocery store and I work at a cafe. We all have been friends for years and very warmly celebrate our weekend to refuel our bodies and souls for the next big week. Recently, near the Easter holidays, we planned to visit Gleddoch hotel and spa, which is an hour’s drive from where we live. The grocery girl, Lauren is a bit tensed as she has always faced problems while trying out something new, but Meagan the banker, is more spendthrift and enjoys life like a princess was the one who organized this trip.
How a Hotel Spa at Glasglow, Reenergized My Body?

Hi, I am Bethany who works as a cafe assistant. As my job is about customer assistance, I have to take care of every demand of the visitors at my cafe. Some of them are very polite and their meals calmly but some visitors love to create a mess and are unmanageable. But, it’s totally fine as this is part of my job and I have to do it. I love my life, my job and more importantly, I love my gang of girls. We all are still single and have strict future plans. We all love to work, but our busy schedules make it difficult to retain more energy. To release stress, we go to parties, enjoy movies and do other sources of entertainment.

Well, this is how our life is moving ahead but we all are happy with what we do and how we do. Coming back to business, Meagan told us about the surprise which she had made that weekend. She just mentioned to pack our bags and we are going Glasgow. After reaching the destination in a quick drive in her car, we stopped at a hotel where she had made the bookings with her credit card. Lauren asked, what are we have to do in Glasgow. Meagan replied, wait and watch girls, it's a surprise.

The room looked like heaven, its exotic ambience took all our stresses at once. Only its vision made is relaxed at that moment. Suddenly, the spa lady gave her quick introduction and as she stopped there was complete silence and then we all screamed with joy that what a nice surprise it was. There were three massage beds in front of us and I felt shy before, but the spa lady made me comfortable enough to have the message. As she, applied her hands on my back, she started explaining the benefits of good spa and how it can help me to remain active and stress-free.

How a Hotel Spa at Glasgow, made me active and stress-free?
  • It slows down the rush in the life and allows your body to regenerate the energy
  • You are totally disengaged from the worldly things like work, friends, and family.
  • As she pressed my back, she described, how the spa will help me in improving my blood circulation. She also added that this will send more oxygen to my body and help in grasping more nutrients.
  • Spa helps in removing the body toxins and regenerates tissues and muscles.
  • She told about, Yin & Yang, which I don’t have any idea about. But what I got is it offers balance to the human body.
After the spa, we were given heat treatment and steam to refuel our bodies and everything worked quite well. After this all was done, we feel relaxed and contented with life. This was our very first experience with spa and we miss a lot and remember our trip to Glasgow.

Phase Zero Makeup Liquid Eyeshadows

I have so far, been really impressed with Phase Zero Makeup, the quality has been superb and the prices are purse friendly. Having already reviewed the lipstick collection (here) and the build your own Eyeshadow Palette (here), I couldn't wait to give these liquid eyeshadows a try.
Phase Zero Makeup Liquid Eyeshadows
Today I am sharing the latest eye product releases which again are quite something. Of the 13 liquid eyeshadows, I have 11 of them and they come in two different formulas – 7 of them are the Metal Veil eyeshadows and the rest are Coconut eyeshadows, as soon as they arrived I couldn't wait to try them.

The Metal Veil Shadows are really creamy eyeshadow which can be used alone or as a base to really vamp up your eyeshadow, they even work with existing eyeshadows to add a bit of dimension!

I really like how pigmented these shade are and with a subtle shimmer and the range of shades available means, there is something for everyone whether you like your cool browns, bright burnt oranges and even that much lusted after rose gold.

  • Decadence is a cool brown neutral that gives a lot of sparkle to your smoky eye.
  • Regal is a rich rose-gold shade with serious shine pay off to create romantic eye looks.
  • Simmer is a rich burnt red shade that adds warmth and glamour to your look.
  • White Rabbit is a bright white highlighting shade that delivers a seriously pigmented white to add a pop to your look, or can be used as a base to enhance other colours.
  • Foxy is the perfect burnt orange you've been looking for that can be used to create sunset eye looks.
  • Fancy is a sweet champagne shade that reflects light beautifully to really open up your eye.
  • Merlot is a deep burgundy shade with serious glitter pay off, perfect for creating dark and dramatic eye look.
If these are not for you, then the Coconut eyeshadows are also incredibly beautiful but be warned they dry quickly, so it's important to blend these whilst the formula is still wet because once they set, they are not budging!  Helpfully the doe-footed applicator really helps to apply the eyeshadow ensuring you don't have too much product at any one time.

The shades this time include:
  • Valentines is a gorgeous rose shade that is perfect for creating sparkling rose-gold looks.
  • Romance is a beautiful pink champagne shade that gives you a dusty rose eye look.
  • Gilded is a dark golden eye that is perfect for creating glam looks with a smoky twist.
  • Lucky Penny is a gorgeous golden bronze shade that gives you the perfect golden eye.
I am sure you will agree with me that there are some amazing shades within this collection and I like so many of them it is hard to choose a favourite, though Romance and Fancy are the two I probably have used the most.

Phase Zero is exclusively available to Love Me Beauty and it works in a similar way to the Beauty Box Subscription. GlossyBox: May 2018 Daydreamer Box

This month's Glossybox is really beautifully themed, its iconic pink box has been cast aside this month to create a special ‘Daydreamer’ design, which portrays a sense of relaxation and tranquillity. The May box contains a mixture of makeup, haircare, skincare, body care products and out of the 5 products included in this month’s box we see 4 full-size products and an EXTRA TREAT from ‘We are Tea’, totalling 6 products in May’s box.
GlossyBox: May 2018 Daydreamer Box

The first product out of the box is a full-size GelSpa Just For Feet Soothe Jelly Foot Soak (£4.99 from Gelicity). Having spent a lot of my time on my feet for the past few days, all I want is something to soothe how sore and aching they are. This treatment is designed to calm and soothe overworked and tired feet and lets you relax to thanks to the wonderful aroma of Lemongrass and Lavender.

What I really liked about using this is that the specially developed powder actually turns water to gel. Literally, a miracle worker and having tried the foot products, I am now wanting to try the bath products too.

Next up is a full-size eyeshadow palette from Trifle Cosmetics whose product formulations are 100% cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free and paraben-free. The Praline Palette (£15.99) is a Vegan 6-shade eyeshadow palette of metallic colours. Described as being "A playful palette of 6 intense, multifunctional eyeshadows that can be used wet or dry. The intense, vibrant shades range from a neutral bronze to wearable khaki and deep eggplant.

Formulated with creamy, coated micronized pigments to reduce shadow fall-out, these unique powders are hot-pressed into their godets for a strong yet velvety smooth texture". Designed to fit into your handbag, this palette also has a mirror in the lid and does come with a double ended applicator, but I was left disappointed that the shades are not as pigmented as I had hoped given the description.

Next in the box is a deluxe 100ml travel size Maria Nila True Soft Shampoo and True Soft Conditioner (travel size £3.98 and £4.99 from Sally Beauty). I have read quite a few reviews about the Maria Nila brand but until now haven't tried any of the products. A luxury Swedish brand, Maria Nila products are Vegan and 100% cruelty-free as well as being both Sulphate and Paraben Free.
GlossyBox: May 2018 Daydreamer Box
The shampoo is described as being a softening, strengthening and moisturising, and the conditioner is colour-protecting, frizz-reducing and deeply conditioning. These leave your hair feeling so soft, smooth, clean and healthy.

Finally in this months box is a full-size Kueshi Double Effect Makeup Remover (£10.50). This product couldn't have arrived at a better time, as I've run out of makeup remover.
GlossyBox: May 2018 Daydreamer Box
The blue phase is a gentle lotion which provides a cooling sensation to the skin and the clear phase is rich in smooth oils which gently remove makeup of any kind, including the hardest to remove waterproof mascara and it does so without the need to rub excessively on and around the eyes. I like that it doesn't leave a greasy film on the skin after using and it is also doesn't leave the skin feeling dry and taut.

I think the May box is a really good box and I like that there is a mixture of everything. If you want to subscribe now and receive this box, jump over to the Glossybox UK website to sign up and if you use the code 'BEAUTYQUEEN15' it will give you 15% off one-month subscriptions at checkout but be quick as it is valid until the end of this month only.
