Make Collecting Money for Group Gifts easier with Leetchi.com

The Coca Cola lorry is coming to town and people are getting into the festive spirit which means presents are being bought and secret santa is on its way. Some work places have whip round to buy gifts for the boss, to plan a work a night out and even monies for a charitable cause, mine does all of the above and then some. However someone always has to take control of organising everything from the collecting of monies to the present buying which can be time consuming, awkward with constant reminders and in some cases the cause of arguments. So let me introduce you to Leetchi.com.

Leetchi.com was founded in 2009 by Céline Lazorthes and is described as being 'the leading European service for online group money collection'.  Recently launched here in the UK Leetchi.com proposes an easy and convenient way to pool money together into one online money pot to pay for gifts, trips, projects and events. In just a few clicks a you can create a personalised money pot online and invite your friends, family and other groups of people.  To ensure people see the fund yoou can email the link to them directly, add it to your social media pages such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+ to ensure you get maximum coverage.  As people begin to donate, you can see who has donated x amount of money and you can have notifications to alert you to monies having been sent. What I do like is that Leetchi gives you the ability to thank them at the click of a button. 

Some people choose to make their posts public and they appear on the dedicated page which allows people to discover all public money pots created by Leetchi users with the purpose of raising money for charity, nonprofit organisation as well as personal project. The most interesting public money pots are promoted on the homepage (free of charge) to increase their visibility and help collect more funds. Creating a public money pot allows the creators and organisers to explain, further develop and get support for the projects that are close to their heart. 

Finally, once the needed money has been raised, Leetchi.com users can spend that money pot as they please: online on partner sites such as Amazon (100% free), ask for a bank transfer (2.9% fee for transfers above £2000 and 4% below) or offer the electronic money pot directly to the beneficiery.

What I like about Leetchi from my own trial is how it is to use.  We all know how hard it can be to try and organise surprises for people without wanting to have to put a lot of time and effort into it. For me, it makes getting a pot of money together so much easier than I expected and when it comes to organising a few surprises next year for family members, I have a site which makes group gifting a much easier task.

Savannah Miller x Bagsy Collection

British born brand Bagsy, whom I love for their handbag friendly essentials have collaborated with British fashion designer Savannah Miller for the launch of their new capsule colour collection for AW16/17..

The collection features some truly exquisite packaging designs for hair, lips, eyes and face, all of which have been inspired by Savannah's signature prints.  Celestial themed you will find striking gold stars and moons in contrast with white flock birds, geometric prints and they are all offset again shades such as vintage midnight blue and black for that opulent feel.  Here is that collection.

Bronzed brilliance shimmer powder (£20) - For a healthy glow all year round, this multi-dimensional bronzer contains clever multi-tonal pearlescent pigments which give a subtle and natual radiance. The formula contains micronized powder which is sourced from fresh water pearls, known for their rejuvenating, skin smoothing, softening effect whilst spherical powders with aborsbing qualities ensure a shine free complexion.

Inside a midnight blue pouch, the sleek black compact opens up to show the bronzer is inscribed with the phrase 'Glow and Inspire' which I think is a really lovely touch.

Dawn to Dusk Eyeshadow Palette (£24) - This palette features 5 beautiful shades which are a matte or shimmer shade. Designed to take you from day to night, this palette is sleek, it features both a mirror and a double ended applicator and is stunning.  

The five shades Moonbeam, Sunrise, Dusk, Galaxy and Star Gazing are easy to blend and apply really easily and are crease free with shimmer, matte and satin finishes.

Intensifying Ink/Liquid Eyeliner (£15) - This pen is as sleek as they come and is a precise yet flexible applicator with an elongated tip to hep with maximum control and ease of use. Safe for the most sensitive of eyes, this eyeliner uses skin caring ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Sunflower seed and Jojoba oils along with Vitamin E to neutralise fee radicals.  

Once applied it is quick to dry as well as being smudge proof but thankfully it is easy to remove with makeup remover.

Pitch Black/Volume Mascara (£18) - Designed to give full, lush, fluttery lashes, this mascara is a full volume mascara which has a large, easy to hold brush which manages to grab hold of every lash from root to tip, covering it with a pitch black shade. 

The conical brush which has a pointed tip seperates the lashes and avoids that spidery look. Lashes are kept soft and flexible thanks to the inclusion of Panthenol in the formula which is known for its moisturising properties and Vitamin E to condition and soften the lashes with every use.

Vermillion Red Full Colour Lipstick (£16) - Everyone needs a statement red lipstick and this one offers a velvety matte finish.  

Designed to suit every skin tone and hair colour, this luxury formula contains a blend of Vitamin A, C and E which are reknowned for their lip conditioning, smoothing and moisturising benefits.

The final item from within the collection is the Glamour Tease Hair Texture Spray (£8). This is a dry hair mist which instantly boosts volume, combines the texturising benefits of a dry shampoo with the hold of a hair spray.

Great for refreshing your hair on the go and is perfect for that day to night look.

The Bodyshop Down To Earth Palette - 02

The Bodyshop Down To Earth Palette - 02 is one that as soon as I saw, I could not resist and it was a total impulse purchase whilst waiting for a blogger friend to go to an event (oops). The Body Shop has been one of those brands that I have a love/hate relationship with and it is something I want to get over, so this palette...

Each one of the palettes are packaged in a sleek black case with a large internal mirror and it closes incredibly securely, so on looks alone, it is ticking many boxes.  Inside the box thi palette has 4 shades Oregan Sunstone and Peru Clay are on the top with Sienna Dust and Idaho Jasper on the bottom and with 2.2g per eyeshadow, I think it is quite a generous pan size. 

When swatched the colour payoff is just amazing and above is just one swipe of each finger across each quad. Oregon Sunstone is a peachy golden shade with a slight shimmer. Peru Clay is a matte taupe which I just adore. Sienna Dust is a really stunning bronze shade which also shimmer and finally we have Idaho Jasper which is a dark almost shimmery brown shade and my favourite on the palette.

Now if there are some shades on this palette you get bored of, don't like or fall out of love with, do not despair because  the palette lets you customise it to make your own perfect palette because each shade simply pops out of the pan to allow you to customise your own palette and this I absolutely love and cannot wait to purchase some more shades.

This palette cost just £15 though I did have a voucher that I needed to use up, but I am so glad I bought it and delved into the Bodyshop Make up collection because this palette is just fantastic and it makes me want to work my way through the entire collection.
