Win with BIC Soleil

Winter might be approaching quicker than Autumn arrived but that is no excuse for not shaving your legs (well okay maybe a tiny bit). Trusted hair removal brand BIC Soleil have a new colourful range of disposable razors which are perfect for ensuring those leg are hair free and silky smooth.
Win with BIC Soleil
The handles on the new Soleil range have been designed ergonomically to allow the razors to hug your body's curves, Bic Soleil razors glide over the skin to leave your legs feeling smooth and soft and admittedly, I was not a fan of BIC until the Soleil came into my possession, but these razors are just simply fantastic and I no longer need to steal the misters (sorry) because let's face it, male razors have always been much better than those designed for women, in my opinion.

I like that I can chose a different coloured handle razor, it is the simple things in life that often please me. I have Soleil® Bella® which combines the luxury feeling of a premium replaceable blade system with the ease and hygiene of a disposable razor. It features 4 flexible blades and an extra wide lubricating strip formulated with coconut milk combine to create a flawless finish and softness that’s irresistible. The contoured handle gives you better control while the pivoting head gently hugs your every curve.

Alongside the fabulous razors is also a really impressive having gel which also comes in a mini can making it perfect for travelling with and it is incredibly moisturising too as it contain both Aloe Vera and Vitamin E.

The lovely people of BIC have given me 6 Bella Razors (which come in a pack of 3) and 6 BIC gels to give away, so that is 6 prizes for 6 people and all you need to do is enter using the rafflecopter below, ensuring you complete the mandatory entries, that you live in the UK and that if you are under 18, have parental permission to enter because I will be needing your home address to send out the prize to you.

MyPurrfect Gift Box - September Tea Box

If you love cats and love tea, then this is the box for you, it is just absolutely superb! For those of you who have not heard of My Purrfect Gift Box before, the idea came from. Kim and Juan Kniveton the founders of My Purrfect Gift Box are dedicated cat lovers, so much so they moved back from the USA to the Isle of Man to set up and run their own idyllic countryside retreat for cats - Boodee Beg Boarding Cattery, something I dream of doing (if I ever win the lottery). With their onsite gift shop not doing as well as they had hoped, Kim and Juan decided to start My Purffect Box and each month they choose to focus on a different cat charity, rescue centre or shelter and highlight the work they do through their social media sites and through information that comes in each box. They then donate 5% of all our profits from that month's box to that chosen charity of the month.

MyPurrfect Gift Box - September Tea Box
This months theme is tea. September signals the start of Autumn which means the jumpers come out, it is time to get cosy and spend quality time together - with tea! Inside this box is everything you need to create that amazing brew we Brits love and even share a few treat with the cats too!

The first thing you need when making a brew is a mug and the first item from this months box is a 'You're my Cup of Tea' cat face mug which is incredibly cute and can be bought from the online shop for just £11.99, the perfect give got tea loving crazy cat ladies like me.

Whenever you have a stringed tea bag in your cup, a tea bag holder has to be a genius invention because without one, I always end up losing the string into the brew and then spend a while digging it out with a spoon. Let me show you the cutest cat tea bag holders which you can find from MiniHandsCrafts which is another store on Etsy. These lovely Cat Teabag Holders are handsculpted and handpainted and are made using the high-quality polymer clay which is water-resistantThey are priced at £7.85.

You also need tea bags when it comes to making that perfect brew and within the box there are some cute cat shaped tea bags which you can find from LoJim right here on Etsy. I have Saffron flavoured tea which I have never tried before, so I am looking forward to giving it a try. I love that these tea bags are hand sewn and they cost £4.45.

One of my favourite scents is Jasmine and inside this box is a beautifully package wax melt in the shape of a cat paw. These melts are hand made using only natural organic ingredients which help to ensure you get a clean burn. You can find these melts from pawmelts and they retail at £18.50 for a box of 9.

Every good cup of tea needs a biscuit and whether or not you agree with Mary Berry on the issue of dunking, I personally am #TeamDunk, inside this box are two beautifully designed biscuits. Designed by Nila Holden whom you can find on NotOnTheHighStreet there are a few shapes and designs to drool over.  In the case of this box we have a beautiful cat and pillow design.

What I love about these boxes is that there are treats for both humans and kitties and for the kitties they do have a real treat inside this box and again all tea related!

First up we have a toy tea bag packed full of catnip from Freak Meowt and it is just brilliant.  This pack contains one tea bag which is filled to the brim with premium Canadian catnip no other filling is used in this product and it caused quite a stir (no pun intended) with my boys who react almost instantly to anything with catnip in it.

The second item for my boy comes from PawandGnaw and it is catnip tea. Perhaps an item I was quite excited about because making the cat a cup of tea is as cute as it is weird. Catnip cat tea with dried premium cat nip herbs for cats. You can brew your own catnip solution at home and then use to spray onto toys or scratching posts or even let your kitty drink a little. The herbs used in our Kit-tea are human food grade making them an excellent quality and dust free too. Each tea bag can be used approximately 2/3 times by drying the bag between uses.It will make a mug full of catnip liquid tea each time which can then be stored in a container in the fridge for up to a week.

The final item in this packed box is another set of toys and this time we have handmade catnip sweet toys from Tillypops and inside each pack is a set of three candy shaped toys. Again, filled with catnip, they have proven to be really popular with my three and they have licked, drooled on and thrown them around since getting them.
MyPurrfect Gift Box - September Tea Box
I have absolutely loved this box, it is just so clever and I am amazing that so many items that are tea related have been found to put this box together.  A definite must if you have cat and love tea!

Not Another Bunch of Flowers

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I am sure most, if not all of us, will know someone or know of someone with it, has had it or has sadly passed away from what is a truly horrendous disease. I have known, in my lifetime, 4 people who have had it, two of them are still alive and they still fight it.

Not Another Bunch of Flowers is an online web shop set up by Anikka Burton to help friends and family of poorly people make thoughtful gift choices for their loved ones. Anikka herself was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011 aged 33, and has had the full works of chemotherapy, targeted therapy, radiotherapy, hormonal therapy and 5 operations to date. When she was first diagnosed, Anikka’s friends, family and colleagues sent so many bunches of flowers that she ran out of vases, jugs, pint glasses... until she was putting them in saucepans and anything else that would hold water! From here, Not Another Bunch Of Flowers was born.

Not Another Bunch of Flowers
The first thing we do as humans when someone is unwell is reach for the phone, internet or shop for some flowers.  Flowers, which are bright and beautiful instantly make people feel cheery and much better but, having friends with breast cancer, flowers are a lovely gesture, but sometimes there are other things that can also make the difference and this is why Not Another Bunch Of Flowers is such a great idea.

I know from experience that doing the simple things in life like the shopping, buying ice cubes and even doing the ironing or walking the dog were as much appreciated as the flowers but I also get that buying something other than flowers is sometimes a bit of an alien thought process. So buying an alternative present can be a difficult choice and this is where  Not Another Bunch Of Flowers helps shoppers pick out the right practical gifts for those going through chemo, such as eye masks, button front pyjamas, beanies, and all sorts of bits and bobs you would never have thought of if you hadn’t been through it yourself.

Not Another Bunch of Flowers is generally known for supplying gifts for cancer patients – due to Anikka’s personal story and the resulting PR. However,  Not Another Bunch Of Flowers  also sells general get well gifts, hospital gifts and gifts for mums-to-be and new mums.
