When it comes to skincare and hair care, the number of products you can buy for different issues or concerns it quite mind-blowing, but when it comes to gadgets, this is where it gets a little interesting, especially when I am introduced to one which is said to be 'The World's First Enhanced Delivery Device for Both Skin and Hair' - curiosity for the better of me and here it is - The Réduit Uni
Sitting the palm of the hand, it is no bigger than an EOS Lip Balm and it is lighter than one of those too. Simply put, the Réduit Uni is essentially a compact, innovative beauty gadget that is powered by the world-first proprietary enhanced delivery technology which allows the pushing the actives deep into the skin and hair, meaning better absorption and more visible results.

So as you can see, this device is a complete beauty routine in one as it tends to both the skin and hair. Using something which is referred to as Ultrasonic Diffusion technology, it enables the dispersion of droplets 50 times smaller than traditional mists which it is then claimed results in 38x better coverage on the surface of the makes beauty treatments absorb faster and deeper into the skin or hair. To do that, the device uses Smartpods.
These Smartpods are no bigger than a poker chip in diameter and with the Uni, there is a selection of 24 skincare and hair care treatments to choose from, it worth noting that each 5ml Skinpod is the equivalent of 50ml of traditional products and the ones I have been sent to try includes:
- Ageless Mist LED Smartpod - This revolutionary skin treatment will boost elasticity, reduce fine lines & wrinkles, prevent further signs of ageing and give you a radiant, youthful glow. Enhanced with red LED, it stimulates the fibroblasts for better collagen production and cell renewal.

- Precision Conditioner Hairpod - The perfect hair treatment for repairing and renewing hair in seconds, as well as protecting hair from everyday heat styling with an air-light frizz-free finish. This weightless hair treatment will also strengthen your hair, leaving it less prone to breakage

So how does it work on the skin?
As we know, your skin has a protective barrier around it and the Réduit UNI can reach through that barrier using it’s Magnetic Misting and Ultrasonic Diffusion technology to help the treatments from the Smartpods work deeper into the skin where they can make a real difference. So again, depending on the Smartpod you choose, depends on the treatment your skin will be getting.
Once the Smartpod has been correctly inserted into the UNI device, the treatment will begin and last for 1 minute, once it is working, the RÉDUIT UNI will pulse every 5 seconds to tell you to move locations, so you can really aim your device at parts of your face or even neck that you wish to be treated.
How does it work on the hair?
As with the skin, this device is designed to give high-quality hair treatments that will improve the strength and quality of your hair, giving it that much sought after nourished shine.
Again, as with skincare, each one of the Smartpods for hair works to target a specific concern or goal you have for your hair. The treatments use only active ingredients that leave your hair feeling weightless, silky, sleek, and nourished.
