L’Occitane Pressed Fruity Lipsticks

Did you know that as well as having an amazing skin, body, hand and hair care range, L'Occitane also have quite the growing makeup range too? Already a fan of their lip care products, L'Occitane has added to the range with their brand new Pressed Fruity Lipsticks.

Each one of these Pressed Fruity Lipsticks, has a really lightweight formula which I really liked and because they are silicone free not to mention enriched with a combination of vitamin E and a unique blend of fruit and vegetable extracts and there is no use of mineral oils either, so they don't leave the lips feeling greasy or tacky when used and I was really impressed with the transfer of colour onto my lips - which didn't mark a cup I was drinking from.

There is four Pressed Fruity Lipsticks within the collection and I have been playing with three of them for the last few weeks, trying them out and testing their longevity and generally seeing how well they work with my skintone and lips of course.

The three shades I have are:
  • POMELIP – a natural shade of pink perfect for spring
  • CAROSSE – a vibrant coral shade, evocative of the Provence sunrise
  • SPRING SUNRISE – a deep shade of pink for a bold look
Each one of these lipsticks comes with a doe-foot applicator which not only makes the application totally effortless as the colour just glides across the lips, I have found that there is no need to use a lip liner. Once on the lips, the colour doesn't feather and has a lovely satin finish which is really comfortable to wear.

The swatches shown above are unedited and you see them as they apply from the doe-footed applicator, all without sticking or streaking. These lipsticks also have a wear time of around seven to eight hours, though as the day wears on, the shade does begin to wear off, but the staying power, which is impressive on its own has another ace up its sleeve because it manages to stay put on the lips even whilst wearing a face mask.

Priced at £20 each, these Pressed Fruity Lipsticks are perfect for Spring and to see you through to the Summer.
