Glossybox Dreaming of Paradise - June Edition

The June Edition of Glossybox is titled “Dreaming of Paradise” and the inspiration comes from Summer and the requirements of beauty products to take you effortlessly from pool to party.
Glossybox Dreaming of Paradise - June Edition
With five products featured, some from well known brands and a few not so well known, you have everything from skincare and hair care to body care and lips!

The first product out of the box and the one to immediately have my attention comes from The Beauty Crop. As a brand, The Beauty Crop is a regularly feature within Glossyboxes and it’s how I’ve come to known the brand.
Glossybox Dreaming of Paradise - June Edition
This months offering is the Oui Cherie Lip Oil which is described as being a non-sticky, moisture-rich treatment designed to gloriously enhance your lips natural colour. It is enriched with a Cherry oil blend to help keep your lips soft and nourished. This is definitely cherry scented, it smells incredible and, as described it is non-sticky and it is perfect for using on its own or over your favourite lipstick.

The second product out of the box comes from Nip + Fab with their Vitamin C Scrub Fix.
Glossybox Dreaming of Paradise - June Edition
Described as being an energising scrub, it works to exfoliate dead skin cells, cleanse the skin and renew. The inclusion of Vitamin C helps to brighten the complexion and create a more even skin tone, Coconut Oil to nourish and soften and finally Coffee Seed Extract invigorates to reduce puffiness and stimulate renewal. On the skin, this scrub is one that you can feel on the skin as you massage it on, though it isn’t overly abrasive.

Next from Mitchell and Peach comes the English Leaf Body Oil. Again, this is a brand I have come to know via Beauty Boxes such as Glossybox.
Glossybox Dreaming of Paradise - June Edition
For me, this is a brand you expect to find in a boutique hotel, it has that look of luxury about it. It contains almond oil and vitamin E for their nourishing properties but the scent is described as being one that is reminiscent of freshly cut meadow grass. Fragranced with English Leaf, a blend of soft citruses, coriander leaves, basil, mint and floral oils all from the Mitchell estate. On the skin, as it is an oil, it is runny but not greasy and it absorbed into my skin relatively quickly leaving no film on my skin. A delightful oil that I have really enjoyed using so far.

The next product is one most will be familiar with from Garnier and that I’d their Micellar Cleansing Water.
Glossybox Dreaming of Paradise - June Edition
I still prefer to cleanse or double cleanse as preference over using a Micellar Water, but this one is said to gently lift make-up and dirt from the skin to leave it free of impurities and residue. The gentle cleansing formula is said to effectively removes make-up without the need to rub or strain delicate sensitive skin.

Finally, a product that every will need at some point in their life, possibly numerous times during the week is a dry shampoo and in this box is Batiste.
Glossybox Dreaming of Paradise - June Edition
Designed to remove oil from the hairs roots to give that “just washed” look, this is a scented dry shampoo called Flirty Floral and with notes of rose, Lily, peony and freesia, all of which are said to scent the hair between washes.

As with the May edition of Glossybox, I’m pretty impressed with this months box. I really enjoyed the theme, it is definitely something I am dreaming of and again, there is a nice mixture of brands that I have come across via Beauty Boxes such as Glossybox.

As you will all know, Glossybox is a beauty box subscription service and it costs as little as £11 per month here*. If you have followed the Glossybox journey over the past year, then you will know that most boxes sell out super quickly, so I expect this one to do just that.

Fenwick Father's Day Gift Box

Today I am sharing another Father's Day Grooming Box and this time it comes from Fenwick and it definitely stands out as being an absolute bargain to be had. If you haven't been made aware, Father's Day for those of us here in the UK is on June 20th, so there is still a few weeks left to decide what to get for that special man in your life.
Fenwick Father'S Day Gift Box
This box is said to be worth £90 but is on sale for just £55 which is more than reasonable I think, considering the contents that have been included.
Brilliant dads should be celebrated every day of the year, but never more so than on Father’s Day. Notoriously tricky to buy for, we’ve taken the guesswork out of gift-giving this year with our handsome assortment of father-friendly essentials. From a drop of English Single Malt and a dashing pair of Falke’s family socks to a dapper new grooming routine courtesy of ClarinsMen, Montblanc and Escentric Molecules, our kit will keep him looking (and feeling) at his very best
My Dad is thankfully quite easy to buy gifts for, so I am quite lucky with that respect, but I do sometimes like to get something that he won't be expecting to get, but will still enjoy.

Contents

  • Clarins, ClarinsMen Energizing Gel (12ml)
  • English Whisky Company, English Single Malt (20cl)
  • Escentric Molecules (200ml), Escentric 05 Body Wash Falke,
  • Family Herren Sock
  • Montblanc Eau de Parfum, Explorer (30ml)
As you can see with the contents of this box, it has some amazing brands such as Montblanc and Escentric Molecules and then with it come the obviously gifts of Whisky and socks, after all, who doesn't ever need a new pair of socks?

For other Father's Day Grooming Boxes, I have already shared offerings from the following:
Added into this mix comes Fenwick and this box is on sale now priced at just £55 and it comes packaged inside a Fenwick green coloured gift box.
