L'Occitane Fruity Light Reflecting Highlighter

When I was told L’Occitane had added a new product to their makeup range, never did I expect it to be a highlighter, I was thinking a lip gloss or something else lip orientated to complement the fabulous lipstick they already have within their range!
L'Occitane Fruity Light Reflecting Highlighter
This Fruity Light Reflecting liquid highlighter, which is priced at £18 for 15ml, with its light rosy colour is designed to add a little luminosity to your complexion. On the skin it combines what can best be described a cream texture with a very very light powdered texture, so it is perfect to applying with your finger tips or a beauty blender to the apples of your cheeks, the brow bone and anywhere else you feel you need to add a bit of a glow.

This highlighter comes packaged in a squeezy tube, so a reminder and a bit of advice with this - less is definitely more because a little goes much further than you think it will.

This liquid highlighter can be blended in with either your fingers or a damp beauty sponge, on the tops of cheekbones, or on the brow bone, to give the skin a beautiful, lit from within look. A little goes a long way and I love the tube as it's easy to dispense just the right amount.

Formulated with Provencal fruits such as pomelo, carrots, and pomegranate, this creamy highlighter is not only essentially skincare as a highlighter but is also a product which will suit all skin tones and types and lives up to its claim to “ Add healthy glow to your look with this instant and natural-looking luminescence”.

I absolutely adore this highlighter, it definitely adds that glow without being too much and over the past few weeks, I have been adding it into my moisturiser, which also works really well. Priced at £18 for 15ml, because you only need such a small amount, this is going to last for quite some time!

Lee Stafford Dry Shampoo Brush Review

I am sure I am not alone with being 70% dry shampoo most weeks, not moving far from the house and appearing on Zoom most days doesn't give me a whole bunch of energy to wash my hair as much as I would usually do. I am a huge fan of Lee Stafford products, especially the hairbrushes and I shared quite a few on my blog at the beginning of 2020, here I am again with the Dry Shampoo Brush for 2021.

Lee Stafford Dry Shampoo Brush Review
I am a huge fan of dry shampoo and use it as and when I need too, one brush I never knew I needed until I tried this is a Dry Shampoo Blending Brush (£10.99). Described as being your secret weapon to quickly and evenly distribute our Dry Shampoos, this brush
  • Blends powder products
  • Lifts the root
  • Flexible nylon pins
  • Synthetic bristle tufts
  • Vegan friendly
When being used, it feels similar in weight to the Lee Stafford Smooth and Polish Paddle Brush. With its soft-touch grip, the multiple dense rows of flexible nylon ball-tip pins which stand out in white, work to lift, tease the root and add volume, whilst synthetic bristle tufts, which are black, evenly blend that Dry Shampoo.

Until this brush arrived, I had always used my fingers to distribute dry shampoo as best I could, but this brush makes a much better job, particularly towards my roots.  Priced around £10.99 you can find this brush via Lee Stafford and places such as Boots*.
