Glossybox Pride Edition

I am loving Glossybox right now, its been quite some time that I have felt able to say that but the Vegan Box, The Mermaid-esque Under The Sea Box and now this month's Pride Edition Box have all been pretty darn good!

This month, we see a bold collection of products that have been put together with Pride in mind and I absolutely love it. The box which features 6 full-size beauty products worth over £58, has a specially designed outer box. To support with the Pride celebrations GLOSSYBOX have teamed up with Defected Records’ GLITTERBOX to offer two lucky winners free guestlists to the Official Manchester Pride Afterparty on Saturday 25th August, alongside a collaboration with influencers Joseph Harwood and Jack Hayes. GLOSSYBOX’s Pride Edition will also see a competition with BOOHOO for a chance to win their Pride clothing collection and support for Manchester Pride throughout the month.

The first item out of the box this month is the Victoria's Secret Pink Sheet Mask (£5). Packaged inside the rainbow sachet is a nourishing sheet mask which is s=designed to feel like a second skin whilst being worn. 

Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, it is designed to give you up to 15 minutes of chill time before you get ready to party. 

Next out of the box is one of the more regular brands ive been getting to know via Glossybox and that is the Trifle Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Jam (£17.50) - Described as being a multitasking product which gives you a healthy flush for up to 10 hours, it can be used on both your cheeks and on your lips. 

It is a colour that can be built up or left as sheer as you want it to be. I have been using it on my lips to add a little bit of colour.

A new brand to me is Kaledio Cosmetics and in this months box is the most amazing highlighter in shade Astrolight (£13).  With a formula that allows you to be subtle or totally get your glow on, what surprised me the most is just how pigmented this shade is. 

I have used it as an eyeshadow topper twice now, despite it being a highlighter and you can also add a drop or two into your foundation for that dewy look.

For me, 3INA is one of those underrated brands and it is one I really really like and can never seem to leave the Covent Garden store empty-handed.  Within this months box is the Shadow Paint in 703 (£8.95).  

I've never used the Shadow Paints before and whilst this isn't a shade I would choose, I do love how it comes packaged and I do like the shade because it isn't too bright a blue. Waterproof and highly pigmented, it can also be used as a liner!

The final two products within this months box come from Rimmel.  Firstly there are some sticker tattoos (£4.99) which admittedly I feel much too old to find them cool, however, said to be waterproof and last for up to 4 days, if you are festival bound they would come in quite handy.  

The final item is the Ink Me Stamp (£4.99) which is in the shape of a Heart.  Perfect for celebrating #LoveisLove, this heart stamp is an intense deep black matte shade and it does have a Kat Von D feel about the design and small enough to fit into your handbag too.

I really like this months box. I love the theme, I love the contents and I love how much thought has gone into making this box what it is.

There has been a lot of hype about this box from Latest In Beauty. I've just watched the live unboxing on Instagram with the lovely Jem and Harrie and it is one cracking box. Launched to celebrate 10 years of making world-class cosmetics accessible to beauty addicts across the UK, the beauty brains behind the LiB team have curated an edition of 13 hand selected beauty heroes that you need to try. This indulgent edit, worth £238 and yours for just £50, is a must-have for any Latest in Beauty addict.

Inside this box, you will find a total of 13 products and there is some pretty incredible brands which include:

• Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturiser - One of my favourite brands, I was so chuffed to see it featured in this box. • Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer - An Iconic brand if ever there was one, it took me a while to find anything to rave about with this product, but it is amazing. The one in this box is the Coconut Breeze option and I want it for the scent alone. Described as being an exotic-scented treatment combines notes of Bergamot, Orange and Soft Peach to mimic coastline freshness, with creamy Coconut, Jasmine and Vanilla to intoxicate the senses. Intensely moisturising, the pre-cleanse formula will improve elasticity, manageability and bounce whilst inspiring mirror-like shine.
• Eve Lom Cleanser - This exfoliating cleanser includes a unique blend of ingredients which each activate individual cleansing properties. Clove Oil's antiseptic properties encourage clear skin, Eucalyptus Oil drains away toxins, Hops Oil tones, and Egyptian Chamomile and Cocoa Butter soften and soothe the skin.
• RODIAL XXL Lip Liner in Nude - A matte dusky pink, this lipliner is said to give high coverage and excellent colour payoff with long-lasting, waterproof and anti-feathering wear.  A plumping complex, including Vegetal Filling Spheres and Hyaluronic Acid ensure lips appear smoothed and plumped with long-lasting hydration
• PAULA’S CHOICE  Clinical 1% Retinol Treatment - I really like this treatment, having tried it on more than a few occasions. Fortified with 1% retinol and a blend of beneficial antioxidants, the treatment gets to work on ageing skin. It absorbs quickly to instantly refine enlarged pores, smooth out deep wrinkles and fine lines, and eliminate brown spots. Its advanced, lightweight formula improves skin elasticity and helps correct pigmentation from old blemishes, whilst added liquorice and oat extract minimise irritation that some people experience with retinol-infused products.
