Sephora Monthly Beauty Subscription Box

I do love a good beauty box as you might have guessed, if you visit here often enough, but did you know Sephora UK had their own Beauty Box?
Sephora Monthly Beauty Box
Taking over from Feelunique just a few months ago, some things on the Sephora UK website have changed, some have stayed the same and some things have been tweaked, one of those being the monthly beauty box. Described as being "The only beauty box you are in charge of", each month Sephora gives you the option to pick 5 deluxe sample products that you really want to try from as little as £11.95 per box.  As this is a subscription service, you have the choice of how your subscription, should you want it, works.
  • A one off box will cost £13.95
  • a 3-month subscription will cost £13.50 per month
  • A 6-month subscription will cost £12.75 per month
  • A yearly subscription will cost £11.95 per month but your first box will cost just £1.95
All of the above box prices also include the cost of posting and all of your products will arrive inside a recycled cotton pouch.

I was kindly given the chance to build my first box with Sephora and I was delighted with the choices of products available and decided to choose a mixture of skincare and makeup.

The first item I chose was the Sephora Collection Size Up Mascara Ultra Black (Travel size) and it is an absolute gem.

The mascara has a vegan formula which is enriched with voluminous microbeads, with it comes an hourglass brush which works to give immediate volume. In the middle of the brush, the short fibers are designed to intensely give the eyelashes an intense, ultra-black volume effect and then at the end of the brush, the longer fibers distribute the formula along the eyelashes for an elongated, curled and stretched look. Ultra-black in colour, this mascara is long-lasting, smudge-proof, flakeproof and I really like that its formula isn't too thick and it isn't too watery either. Available here for just £5.55.

The second product I chose comes from Glow Recipe with their Strawberry Smooth BHA + AHA Salicylic Serum, a product I have seen raved about for a while now and it seemed like too good an opportunity to miss by now getting a travel size version.

Described as being powerful yet soothing, this Glow Recipe Strawberry Smooth BHA + AHA Salicylic Serum is said to gently smooth and address the appearance of breakouts whilst at the same time, visibly refines pores for clear, hydrated skin. It is, as you might have guessed from the name, formulated with a 10 percent Clarity Acid Complex including two percent salicylic acid and one percent mandelic acid blend to visibly clarify, decongest, soothe, and help prevent blemishes. I am really looking forward to giving this a try.

The third product is from proto-col and it is their Collagen Facemask that again, is another product I have read so much about.

This mask is said to work to stimulate collagen production for a plumped and more youthful complexion and it uses ingredients such as a blend of Aloe Vera and orange extracts to help restore, revitalise and refine the complexion, triple vitamins A, C and E to soothe and treat stressed-out and tired-looking skin, Coral seaweed is rich in amino acids which aids in rebuilding damaged cells as well as softening the skin and finally, this mask also balances the skin’s pH levels due to the collagen and kaolin present in the formulation.

The fourth product comes from one of my favourite brands and it is the Aromatherapy Associates Rose Shower Oil and it is utterly divine.
Sephora Monthly Beauty Box
Designed to enrich skin and uplift the senses with a rejuvenating, therapeutic essential oil blend of Rose, Geranium & Palmarosa and all three come together to relieve stress, calm and clear the mind as well as to balance and uplift. As a shower oil, it is lovely and silky smooth on the skin and the scent is so fresh and I just adore it. This 50ml sized bottle is just £10 here.

The final item I picked is from CeraVe and it is another brand ive seen people raving about on my timeline. The product in question is the Hydrating Cleanser, in what is quite possibly, the cutest bottle.
Sephora Monthly Beauty Box
Developed with dermatologists, this is a gentle, non-foaming gel formula cleanser which not only cleanses the skin but it also works to remove excess makeup and dirt. It contains 3 essential ceramides (1, 3, 6-II) which help to protect the skin barrier, plus there is also the inclusion of Hyaluronic Acid which helps to retain the skin’s natural moisture.  Another product I am really looking to try to see whether or not it lives up to its hype.

As you can see, I am really chuffed with the products that I have chosen and I love that there is so much choice to choose from and there is an amazing number of brands taking part.  You can sign up to try this subscription service from as little as £11.95 per box
