Glossybox - The Magical Masquerade Edition

The October Edition of Glossybox has landed and after sneak previews and teasing on social media, the Magical Masquerade Box is here and the design is just incredible. There is an offering of two different boxes, The Secret Edition or the version I have, which is called The Truth.
Glossybox - The Magical Masquerade Edition
The box, as you can see is incredible with its Masquerade Mask embellished across the front, standing out with the black and silver detailing and inside the box, there is your very own Mask, which works wonderfully well with the ribbon which fastens the contents together.

The first product out of the box is from a brand called Josephine Cosmetics with the Bold Matte Liquid Lipstick. Not a brand I have ever heard of or come across, but one of the reasons I love beauty boxes is to discover just that.
Glossybox - The Magical Masquerade Edition
Described as being a luxe. Vibrant. Bold. A natural, vegan, powerful velvety matte liquid lip colour which is enriched with show-stopping pigments.  I have the shade Tiphanie which is said to be a bold and bright darling red, with hints of blue undertones, that works for every skin tone.

Next we have Spotlight Highlighter Pencil from Eyeko. I have only ever seemed to try mascara and eyeliners from Eyeko, so it is nice to see another product.

I have the Champagne shade and this highlighter pencil is said to be enriched with jojoba oil. When applied to the skin, it has a really lovely creamy texture which glides on effortlessly and whilst the claim is a staying power of upto 8 hours, I am yet to wear any makeup for that length of time, even for a Zoom meeting! e the creamy formula applies smoothly and easily. It is extremely easy to blend, providing Versatile when used, as well as being applied to the usual parts of your face, this one an also be used to brighten the inner corners of your eyes.

From Saint Luxe for the third product within this box is a Setting Spray.  I love a particular brand for their setting spray and it is one I buy over and over again, so I was intrigued to try this.
Glossybox - The Magical Masquerade Edition
This is a really lightweight, micro fine setting mist and it is one which doesn't soak the skin through but does a pretty good job at not only helping to set your makeup but I also find it to be quite moisturising. It is formulated with Coconut Water, Purslane and Hyaluronic Acid which together not only help to accelerate the healing of damaged skin but also helps to instantly hydrate to give that dewy finish.

There is usually always a cackle with products from Anatomicals and within this months Glossybox we have the Boob Tube Grab Your Melons Body Lotion.
Glossybox - The Magical Masquerade Edition
With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, never has there been more of a reminder to check your boobs. This hydrating body lotion, which is a bit more zesty than I was expecting it to be, does have a slight hint of Melon to it too.

Finally within this months box we have ESPA with their Eucalyptus and Tea Tree Cleansing Hand Spray and for me, there will never be such a thing as 'too many' if products like this.
Glossybox - The Magical Masquerade Edition
As you might have expected, this is a 60% alcohol-based cleansing hand spray that is infused with a luxurious blend of pure essential oils, including Eucalyptus and Tea Tree. It has a really quick-drying, no-rinse formula when spritzed and it is also clever enough that it doesn't drench your hands through. The perfect size for popping into your handbag to use on the go.

I have loved the theme of this months box and the products which have been included have been a mixture of brands I know and one I don't.

As you will all know, Glossybox is a beauty box subscription service and it costs as little as £11 per month here*. By subscribing to these boxes, it gives you the chance to get your hands on the Limited Edition boxes.

If you haven't done so yet, Glossybox has not one but TWO Advent Calendars for 2021 - the first is the Surprise Me Advent Calendar which is worth over £465 and then we have the Glossybox x Grazia Advent Calendar which is worth over £450 and both are on sale now.
