A few days ago I posted about the Laura Geller Sweetest Things box of products and today I have the Laura Geller Ballerina Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator.
Now first things first, this illuminator is just stunning to look at, work with and wear. It is described as having a hybrid texture because it applies like a sheer powder but actually feels more like a cream and when swatched it does just that, as you swipe your finger across the swirls the powder like texture turns to a cream which makes it really easy to work with. The swirls are 3D and stand right out and is described as capturing the look of your favorite Italian dessert, and lasts until the very last application.
The shade, Ballerina, is just stunning and is best described as being a candlit rosy copper gold shade and once applied to the skin it gives a wash of colour. Lightweight in texture, the glow it gives is quite soft, but it is a product that is
buildable depending on which look you are going for.
Priced at £21.50 from Lookfantastic, it is a worthy investment to have and is also available in shade Gilded Honey which is an effervescent caramel honey shade

omg I love this! It's a bit pricey but it seems to be totally worth the money x
ReplyDeleteI love the colour and its iridescence. Excuse my make up ignorance but is an illuminator like a bronzer?

ReplyDeleteI saw you had posted this one Instagram and I wanted to know more - it is an absolutely beautiful colour. x
ReplyDeleteI have heard so many good things... I think I have maybe too many highlighters now (is this actually possible) but if I was to invest in another one this is where I would look xx

ReplyDeleteGorgeous colour - it sounds a pretty amazing product! Kaz
ReplyDeleteThis sounds great. I've been hearing good things about Laura Geller but I'm always too nervous to try it because it's a lot of money if it's not quite what I'm looking for but I think I will ask for a tester. It looks like it'd be quite sheer which is perfect for a glam look without being ott x
ReplyDeleteIt is pricier than my normal budget but to be honest for the quality you are getting I think it is so worth it!
ReplyDeleteI love this shade it's so pretty and shiny!
ReplyDeleteThe colour looks so amazing.
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued by what you say about it being a powder and a cream. Lovely colour.
ReplyDeleteI love the colour, and the density of the pigment is perfect. I feel I may need to buy this very soon
