If you haven't guessed by now, I am a bit of a highlighter obsessive and I have quite a few within my collection. It is an item I use pretty much everyday and I don't mind whether it is liquid, powder, gel based or even a cream, if it does what I want it to do, then it gets the thumbs up.
What I love about this highlighter is that it does have a pump action dispenser, but you need such a small amount because as you can see from the photos above, you get a lot out of one pump and it is more than you will need. Once out of the tube, there is a slight rose/pink colour to it, but once onto the skin, the colour doesn't transfer and instead it leaves behind a soft, subtle glow.
At just £4.99 I think this is totally worthy of trying!
Barry M Light Me Up Liquid Highlighter is described as being the fast track to giving your skin a gorgeous, natural glow. With this highlighter, you can apply to the parts of you face which you highlight, you can also mix it with your moisturiser or foundation for that extra glow. Personally, because this highlighter is quite pigmented, I prefer to dab it and blend it down the centre of my nose, along my temple, on my chin and on my cupids bow.

Do you have a favourite highlighter?
I've only tried Barry M's brighter cosmetics (nails and eyes) but this definitely looks worth a go. A bit of a glow is certainly something I need at this point in January!
ReplyDeleteThis looks gorgeous! It's been ages since I've tried anything from Barry M.

That really is cheap! I bought a highlighter from The Body Shop for much more than that and tbh I'm not quite sure what to do with it really!
ReplyDeleteI'll always be a mac strobe cream girl! The ultimate glow. x

As I don't wear any makeup (except for mascara - I'm a natural ginger with invisible eyelashes!) I don't know what half this stuff is for, but I'm finding your posts very educational! There's so much stuff out there!
ReplyDeleteI've never even heard of BarryM. I'll have to speak to the teens in the family and see if it's something they like or have ever tried.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried a liquid highlighter before, but at that price it sounds like it's totally worth a go!

Barry M are getting SO good with their products lately, I remember when they just sold nail varnish. I don't wear highlighter but I think if I was going to start this would be the place :)
ReplyDeleteNot really tried any BarryM product. Will check this out.
ReplyDeleteoh looks amazing I havnt tried this brand but very tempted now
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a great product, amazing price and good quality. It's much easier to use with a pump, I like that a lot.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I have to commend your photography skills I love how you blur out backgrounds and secondly I like a good highighter too although prefer Barry M for nail polishes rather than makeup.
ReplyDeleteWhat a reasonable price. I haven't used a highlighter before, but would give this one a try x
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this looks amazing - I like pump dispensers, they seem to last for ever. Brilliant price too! Kaz x

ReplyDeleteThis looks like a lovely highlighter. I've never tried any BarryM products apart from the eye shadows before so I must check this out.
ReplyDeleteI don't really use highlighters due to an unknown reason lol. I tried a few before but nothing that I can call my favorite. Yet. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great price at only £4.99! I will have to try it
ReplyDeleteWould you say that it's a fine glow or that the glitter is chunky because there's nothing I cant stand more than applying it and looking to find you've got specks of glitter on your face!!x
