This month there are two 'Treats' which area sachet of Sienna X Gradual Glowing Tan which is said to give you natural looking, award winning, sunless tan. I really like the sound of the brand but don't think a sachet will give me enough insight into whether or not I would purchase a full sized product. The second treat is an introductory sampler to the book 'The Mortal Instruments: One - City of Bones by Cassandra Clare and it is part of an Urban Fantasy series which is not my thing at all and not something that I will be reading. So I am not too impressed with the 'Treats' this month.
The next two products are the ones that I chose to try from a selection of 8. This month I opted for two products that I had heard a lot about but have never tried.
Ole Henriksen – Truth Serum Collagen Booster. I have used the Ole Henriksen African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser and the Pure Truth Oil, both of which I was really impressed and quite keen to try something else from the range and this caught my attention. The Truth Serum is packed full of antioxidants and Vitamin C which as we know, are vital for the skin at this time of year. Whilst the sun works wonders at supplying us with that all important Vitamin D, it can also dry the skin and damage it too if we don’t look after our skin. This product has an RRP £18

So there you have it, my £6.95 box of goodies for July from You Beauty Discovery. What do you think to my contents?
Looks like a great selection, not bad for £6.95. Would love to try the truth serum x
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little box and that price is so affordable! x
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try the Ole product. I had one of these boxes before and I didn't keep the subscription but i did get their advent calendar last christmas and it was fabulous, loved it! xxx

ReplyDeleteOhh nice selection, I love a serum. Shame about the sachet of self tan, really not enough to test it out! x
ReplyDeleteIs it really only £6.95? Wow!
ReplyDeleteMine has just come through I got the booster too and the Inka bronzer. I was too pleased with the extra treat either times. Hope the next box turns out good again. looking forward to seeing how you get on with the serum.
ReplyDeleteOohh I would have loved to receive the Ole Serum, it's a brand I have yet to try

This is my favourite sub box right now, I also went for the StriVectin, I have the Ole Henrikson one already so opted for the Inika bronzer instead. I don't think much of extras either this month but the menu was spot on

ReplyDeleteIt is great value, but boxes just are not for me

Okay, they had me at the sampler book. OMG! I wish they have it here too
ReplyDeleteAnother great looking box, I love the sound of the Collagen Booster :) xx
ReplyDeleteLovely box and a great price. Give City Of Bones a try, I can assure you it's a great series! Laura x
ReplyDeleteThat looks great and what a fab price!
ReplyDeleteI love such boxes! everything looks great. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely box. I think though I'd prefer a full book rather than a sample. I've read the book and I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't pick it up to read from a sample as I find that a bit too blatant a sales technique. Love the sound of the Truth Serum Collagen Booster.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great box, I keep meaning to try one out but can never decide which one to go for
ReplyDeleteI chose the Ole serum too and couldn't believe it when I realised it was full size! Such a good value box xx
