Erborian is a brand which is new to me, one I haven't read too much about but one I know I am going to love. A fusion of traditional South Korean beauty remedies and French luxury, Erborian uses natural science and proven ingredients to create unique formulas that rejuvenate and restore skin's luminosity so the description goes and having had their PP Cream in my possession for some time, I think it is just amazing.
So yes, a cream that is a PP Cream, the Erborian Pink Perfect Creme to give it the full title is enriched with Korean ingredients. The cream has a soft pink colour to it and it is designed to be applied to the face every morning to give that radiant finish and it has a 4-in-1 set of benefits which include - providing an instant “blur” by giving a soft-focus looking effect to the skin, visibly minimise the appearance of pores, helping to enhance the appearance of your skin tone with a pearly glow and finally prepare your skin for make-up, acting as a primer, thus leaving your skin feeling smoothed, and more radiant.
As well as being pink and leaving your skin feeling really smooth, this PP Creme does contain some fabulous ingredients to help keep your skin feeling both toned and supple. Pumpkin seed oil helps to regulate sebum production, Horsetail extract helps to improve the skin's quality, leaves of Diospyros Kaki which helps to keep skin supple and toned with a pore tightening effect and finally Camellia oil helps to regenerate the skin and enhance cellular protection.
The Erborian pink perfect creme is available now, priced at £36 for 45ml.

What I love about this PP creme is its ability to act like a primer, it really does help keep my makeup in place as well as leaving my skin feeling soft, smooth and toned and in all honesty it works just as well as any other primer I own, it is just this one happens to feel less silicone based and be packed full of skin loving ingredients. It also does brighten the skin and bring about a youthful glow, though not too much so it looks as though you need to get the blotting papers out, it is a refreshed just walked out the beauty salon look and it isn't heavy on the skin and nor does it feel as though your pores are blocked and they can't breathe.
I honesty love this PP creme and it is something I am using everyday right now, I love how it makes my skin feel and I love how effortlessly my makeup glides on and stays put all day.
I've never heard of a PP cream but this looks like a great primer like you said. Plus I love the ingredients :) x
ReplyDeleteThe packaging looks so cute! I'm not sure about the pink shade though, I prefer a green to cover my red cheeks when I'm out the shower! X

ReplyDeleteI've just found out about primers and brought my very first one for when I try to do smoky eyes. (I'm still learning!) and this sounds great. I love how it minimises pores, I have problem with large pores.
ReplyDeleteHad never heard of PP creams! This looks interesting and love the packaging
ReplyDeleteOooh looks lovely! Is it ok for sensitive skin? I really fancy that!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great, informative post. I have never tried Primers but they sound like something I would love to try in the future.
ReplyDeleteSoft focus effect, sounds right up my street. Not too sure on the pink element though? x

This sounds like an amazing product! I've never heard of a PP Cream before, but smoothing and brightening and while priming sounds good. The price is a little steep though! :(
ReplyDeleteI must admit to being a little perplexed with all the PP, CC and BB creams out there! Thanks for explaining what this one does!
ReplyDeleteI never use any bb or cc creams, I only use foundations. I find them lately too heavy so I mist try something new. I love the package of this one!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good primer, will have to look out for it x
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this before - woah it's a bit pricy though! Kaz x
ReplyDeleteI may have to add this to my wish list - I like how it makes skin soft, acts as a primer and gives a nice glow x

Pink Frenzy
oooh this sounds lovely , i would love to give this a try
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of PP cream either, but I wonder how it works covered red blotchy skin? I normally use a green based one.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of a PP cream. I tend to use green / yellow based creams though
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of this - I've not tried a PP cream before, but I'd like to give it a try.
ReplyDeletePP? Lol! Looks like a lovely packaged item but well over my price range with 3 small people to feed.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of a PP but I use a blurting primer so something like this could be useful. £36 is a bit steep for me though, I'm more of a Boots/Superdrug shopper than high end boutiques I'm afraid.
ReplyDelete£36 seems like a lot of money for such a tiny tube but I guess if it works and you don't need much at a time it's a good investment!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of this - anything that gives a morning glow! Perfect.
