Studio Make Up Brush Set

My Goddaughter turns 16 in a months time and she is at that age where make-up is a big part of her life. She is discovering what she likes, what she doesn't like, what works for her and what doesn't and like most 16 year olds money is not something she has a lot of.  So when I asked her what she wanted, she mentioned she would like a few bits of make-up and some brushes.

So I've decided to make her up my own version of a beauty box full of products I think she would like and shades that will suit her, please feel free to make some suggestions for brands and things I should definitely include, but when it comes to brushes, Superdrug have some amazing products this today is one I am going to rave about.

Available now for just £5 and yes I did say five pounds, this complete set of brushes from Studio could be yours and they are ideal for my goddaughter, though it will admit I am toying with keeping them for myself! In this set there are five brushes, so that is a whole £1 per brush and they comprises of:
  • Eyeliner Brush
  • Angled lip brush
  • precision eye brush shadow brush
  • Blending eye shadow brush
  • Powder brush

These brushes were created in collaboration with a professional make up artist and they make an absolute wonderful starter kit.

What do you think to these brushes?

  4. A beauty box is a great idea, why not go for the affordable brands so she can then afford to replace them if she wants to, maybe have a box of basics and all the essentials, I think MUA are a very good brand or W7

  16. They look really nice. I would like them for myself, never mind the teenager. For your teen's beauty box, have a look at the beauty range in Primark because they have some lovely stuff in there and it's often in quite cutesy packaging which teens love. I don't many people would think of Primark for beauty stuff but they have some good bargains.

  27. The brushes look great and a must in any makeup kit. Try buying No 7 products from Boots, they are good quality but not too expensive and most of the time they have 3 for 2 offers too.
