Dermatology M Skincare - an introduction

Dermatology is a new brand that I have been learning about for a few months now, maybe even longer and it is one which intrigued me from the initial introduction. The use of Chinese medicine in beauty is pretty big, but has really been something I haven't looked at.

I was kindly sent three products from an incredible range that is offered and what I love is that you can shop generally and by that I mean for your face, body and hands or you can shop by concern and things such as dryness, dehydration, scars, blemishes, redness or it is broken down further with products for Eczema, Rosacea or even trauma.  Each product is then further broken down with information as to what it is used for and why it should be used.
We live for results, securing the quality and efficacy of our formulas by sourcing and importing every raw herb ourselves before formulating on our own premises. We create skincare beyond conventional creams – authentic, modern formulas that meet the unique needs of today’s skincare customer.
The three products I have been using are the Rose Otto Rejuvenating Cream, A Soothing Facial Moisturiser and a Honeysuckle Cleansing Wash.

The first product which grabbed my attention was the Honeysuckle Cleansing Wash £42 (Jin Yin Hua) and anyone who reads my blog will have probably realised just how much I enjoy cleansing.   This cleanser is said to be suitable for all skin types but is ideal for those with combination skin (me), oily skin and for those prone to breakouts.

Cleansing, brightening and soothing, this skin-balancing daily face wash is free from SLS, SLES and soap, it instead uses natural cleansers to gently yet effectively remove makeup and impurities without drying the skin.  Ingredients within this Cleansing Wash include Coconut and Sustainable Palm oils which work to cleanse and condition your skin, Honeysuckle Extract which soothes irritation,  Palmarosa Essential Oil hydrates and organic Rose Geranium and Sweet Orange balance and brighten the complexion.   What I have really enjoyed about this cleansing wash is how it feels on my skin, for me a product has to feel right on my skin, or I am not using this. I absolutely love the texture of this wash, it is soothing, it doesn't over lather and my out my skin, it isn't too runny or too thick, pretty much a near perfect texture for cleansing!

The second product is the Soothing Moisturiser £68 (Ji Xue Cao Shung Gao) and I think this is my favourite product of the three, but just and I mean just.

Described as being natures saviour, this incredibly luxurious rich cream has gentle astringent properties that have proven highly beneficial for skin that is prone to eczema, psoriasis, acne and sensitivity. Not only does it help to relieve the redness, itching and heat associated with these concerns, it also really hydrating. I have combination oily skin which despite the description means I also suffer with dryness, for me it is on my cheeks and between my brows, this cream has so far proven to be incredibly moisturising without being too greasy.

The final product within this trio is the Rose Otto Rejuvenating Cream £68 and this is one of the best creams I have used in a very long time and I have absolutely loved using it.

Described as being an intensely hydrating and it absolutely is, without being too heavy or rich for the skin.  Using Backuchoil which is often referred too as a natural alternative to retinol, it helps to even skin tone and enhance the complexion and alongside that is the inclusion of Hyaluronic Acid which helps to hydrate and soothe the skin.  Then we have Rose Otto which has a list of benefits for the skin, including helping to soothe and smooth the skin as well as to balance skin oils, which brings in Rosehip Oil and it is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants. This cream beings together everything you need for skin cell renewal, diminished redness and those fine lines and wrinkles are said to appear reduced, leaving skin noticeably smoother and brighter.

If you are looking for a brand that is designed and formulated here in the UK and uses the most organic of ingredients when and where possible, then Dermatology M Skincare is a brand to look at, I really want to try absolutely everything this brand has to offer, I am that impressed!
