CACI Mask Discovery Set

With all the running around, stresses, strains and queuing to be done in the run up to Christmas, one of the best gifts you can give to yourself is time for self-care and from Caci Beauty, this Mask Discovery Set (£30) gives you time to sit down, grab your TV remote control, load up a cheesy Christmas movie and relax.

I was first introduced to CACI a few years ago and their masks are simply super.  If you haven't come across them before, Caci as a brand is about achieving beautiful skin without surgery, no matter your age and for over 30 years they have been developing leading edge technology, synonymous with the ‘Non-Surgical Face Lift. This is one of the most soothing masks I have used.  Inside its packaging, this transparent gel mask comes in two parts, one for the upper part of your face and one for the lower part of your face, so it is really easy to use and it fits really well to all contours of the face.

Once on the skin, it is instantly soothing and calming as soon as it has been applied to the skin, and it is also infused with a whole series of ingredients. Those ingredients are collagen, hyaluronic acid and rose water which work to deeply nourish, soothe and provide intensive skin hydration, so if you have dry skin, then this is a mask you really should try. 

If you love a good eye mask, then you will love the Eye Revive Mask and this is also a transparent silicon gel eye mask which has a soothing and calming action on tired eyes

Unlike most eyes, this one doesn't just sit under the eye, it covers the entire orbital eye area, including the brows.  Once applied, this mask feels absolutely incredible and for anyone who suffers with tired, puffy eyes, then the soothing and calming action works wonders. 

Refreshing in every way, this eye mask is packed full of amazing ingredients such as Hyaluronic acid and Cucumber extract which work to deeply nourish, cool and moisturise the skin, Green Tea extract which helps to detoxify the skin and reduce puffiness, plus there is also Collagen to plump up the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Infused with pure colloidal silver, which is known for its anti-bacterial properties, it works to help skin that is prone to blemishes and breakouts. There is also a combination of other key ingredients such as Aloe Leaf Extract, Seaweed Extract and Marine Collagen which work together to maintain healthy skin and a clearer complexion.  Again, instantly soothing, especially when it has been in the fridge for a few hours before use, it fits onto the contours of your face and doesn't budge and when I use it, after fully cleansing my face, I leave it to work its magic for around 20 minutes.

flânerie's Award-Winning Skincare Review

Today, I'm excited to introduce you to a brand that's new to me: the vegan skincare line, flânerie. As someone with sensitive skin when it comes to Kaolin as an ingredient, I was initially cautious, as my skin typically reacts poorly to it—becoming red, blotchy, and itchy. To be safe, I did a patch test before using it, and thankfully, my skin didn't become all upset and angry.  Instead, I decided for the first few uses to try this cleansing powder on different parts of my face, still being cautious and other than my chin, which decided not to play ball and went slighty red after use, but everywhere else was totally fine and my skin was left feeling soft and smooth to the touch.

  

To use, you simply dispense a small amount of the powder into your hand and add water to create a foam. Massage the foam gently into your skin, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water for a fresh, clean feel.

The second product, the Vivifying Serum (£47), also known as Lily Bloom, is formulated to prevent and reduce the early signs of aging. This antioxidant-rich serum helps counteract the effects of free radicals, redefine the contours of your face, and stimulate cellular renewal for a more youthful appearance. The scent, inspired by the tranquillity of slow mornings, combines fresh, fruity, and floral notes of lily, orange, rose, and white musk, creating a soothing, uplifting fragrance.

This silky serum features three key ingredients, each chosen for their remarkable benefits:

• Hyaluronic Acid: Provides deep hydration, penetrating the skin to reveal a visibly more radiant complexion.

Nourish London Radiance Duo

Nourish London, is a brand that I was first introduced to back in 2021 and since then have been lucky enough to get to know the brand really well, one of my favourite products Antioxidant Multi-Tasking Super Balm.

Emma Hardie Gift Guide 2024

One of my absolute favourite brands is Emma Hardie, and again this year they have so many exceptional gift offerings from stocking fillers to an amazing selection of spa-like treatment kits and I have quite the collection to share with you.

Whether you want to Glow on the Go, Hydrate or Nourish, each one of these kits has something for everyone.

Starting with the Emma Hardie Hydrating Balm Kit (£25) which is the perfect gift for anyone who wants to understand why the iconic cleansing balm is so loved.

The Copenhagen Company Amber Candle

When it comes to Christmas scents, for me the use of cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise and citrus peels remind me of Christmas Cake and it is at this time of the year when Christmas Candles really grab my attention.

Inspired by Founder Bo’s Danish roots and passion for fine fragrance, the collection includes an array of room sprays, diffusers and candles in a variety of sizes.  I was very kindly sent The Copenhagen Company Amber Candle and, as with the The Copenhagen Company - Scandi Christmas Candle I shared last year, it has one of those scents you detect before the box has even been opened.

What I love about this candle is the description speaks for itself when you first see it packaged so beautifully inside its box and the silver lid really makes this a beautiful gift. 

The candle opens with vibrant top notes of saffron flower, rose, and pink pepper, creating an enticing blend of floral, fruity, and spicy aromas that captivate from the moment it's unboxed. Once lit, heart notes of patchouli, oud, and guaiac wood reveal themselves, each adding depth through warm, spicy, and subtly smoky characteristics. At the base, earthy tones of warm amber, suede, and moss infuse the scent with richness and warmth. As the candle burns, these layers harmonise beautifully, allowing the top notes to maintain their allure while seamlessly complementing the deeper heart and base notes.
