Glossier Solution - Exfoliating Skin Perfector

I am fairly new to the Glossier skincare fan club and from the few products I have tried, I have liked them a lot more than I expected too. I waited until the hype had died down slightly before delving in to try a few things out such as the Milky Jelly Cleanser which I reviewed here.  Today is the turn of the Glossier Solution Exfoliating Skin Perfector, which I surprisingly liked rather a lot.
Glossier Solution - Exfoliating Skin Perfector
Packaged inside this pearlescent pink bottle, the exfoliating skin perfector is described as being a chemical exfoliator that promises to clear breakouts and blackheads, reduce the appearance of pore size and minimise redness all whilst being gentle on the skin whilst it removes dead and dry skin.

It uses three acids to ensure all of the above is completed, acids that you will have come across in other products of a similar nature - Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA), and Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA), though how much of each is included within the formula remains to be seen because it isn't actually broken down, all we know is that there is a 10% blend of acids.  Alongside the acids you will find niacinamide which is used for its brightening properties and glycerin for hydrating and Aloe Vera for its calming and soothing properties.

What I like about the bottle is that you place your cotton wool (hopefully a reusable one) pad and press down to release the liquid, one pump being more than enough to swipe across your face.

Designed to be used daily after cleansing, when I used it the first few times there was the tingling that I have come to expect, though it wasn't uncomfortable at all. The tingling lasted for a few minutes and then subsided.  There was no notable redness to my skin, which I had been expecting, but I was pleasantly surprised after a few weeks of using that the pattern of blackheads which had appeared across my nose had steadily declined in number leaving just a few to deal with.  There is no doubt that any dead or dry skin on my face had been dealt with and my skin wasn't left feeling like the Sahara Desert after using it - always a bonus!

Whilst I do like this exfoliating skin perfector, there are other products that I prefer and one that I noticed much quicker results with another brand which will appear soon.  Priced at just £19 here, it is really worth trying if you are new to acids or even if you just want to change from the brand you are currently using.
