Lush launches first ever subscription box

I am a huge fan of Beauty Boxes and if you read my blog regularly, you will see just how much. New to the subscription service is Lush. Recently launched, the subscription service is a great way to try out Lush products, whether you are fan, not quite sure or have never tried anything.

Those who sign up to the Lush Kitchen box will get four to five new items posted to their door each month. Some of these products will be those which haven’t yet hit the shelves of Lush stores, giving you an exclusive peek at what’s to come.

Lush describes this new service as, ‘much more than just a subscription box,’ as subscribers will also automatically become members of the Lush Kitchen community, and will therefore have exclusive insider access to the Lush world.

Lush Kitchen was founded in 2014, and allowed customers to see things from behind the scenes, giving a glimpse into their factories and processes. The Kitchen was known for making small batches of limited edition products each day, that were then available to purchase exclusively online.

How does it work?

Unlike most Beauty Box Subscriptions, the contents of the Lush Box will be based on a subscriber vote from a changing monthly menu, plus there will be a few surprises too.

How much does it cost?

It costs £35 plus shipping which roughly works out around £7 per product, but of you do get exclusive items, they are delivered to you at home and you don’t have to venture out especially to a store to grab some items.

How can I sign up?

You can sign up to the subscription box now at this link, the vote for which products should go into the boxes is usually held around the 5th of the month and from there fresh batches of products are made, packaged and ready to ship towards the end of the month.

I really like this idea, it has been a long time since I have now ventured into a Lush store owing to the lockdown, but for those who seemingly struggle with the scent of a Lush store but love the products, this is a great alternative.

What do you think to this idea?

Lush also have an advent calendar which I featured on my blog here
