Our increasingly busy lifestyles mean that days are often a blur of working, cooking, cleaning and paying bills, leaving us with less time to do the things we truly enjoy. These mundane – yet essential – tasks are so ‘normal’ to us that we don’t always realise just how much time we spend keeping on top of endless chores.
But, don’t lose hope. Our research shows that socialising with friends and watching our favourite sports on TV still play an important part in our lives. Not only that, but, the way we divide our time often differs depending on our gender or the region we live in.
