Ouai Haircare Eau de Parfum

I have featured Ouai Haircare quite a few times on this blog and one of my favourite discoveries of this year is the Scalp and Body Scrub. Ouai, if you haven't come across the brand before is pronounced 'Way' and is naturally French for yes.  Not just any hair care, Jen Atkin, the genius behind the brand, is not only charged with look after the tresses of  Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Bella Hadid, Chrissy Teigen, but she has also managed to find some time to come up with something a little more exciting, though sadly it is limited edition.

Do you ever get a product - a hand cream, a shower gel or even a shampoo and just wish the scent was used to create a candle, a reed diffuser or even a perfume? Well, Jen has clearly been listening because here we have ourselves some Ouai Eau de Parfum and it is just incredible.

There are four different scents to choose from - Melrose Place, Mercer Street, North Bondi and Rue St. Honore and each scent is named after a place Atkin frequently visits for work. If you are a fan of Ouai products then you might just recognise the scent from your favourite product. They're all are housed in chic, circular bottles with bold white caps that are sure to look right at home on your bathroom vanity.  I am lucky enough to have two of the four fragrances which are Melrose Place and Mercer Street.

Melrose Place - This fragrance is the Los Angeles–inspired scent and more specifically it is inspired by Melrose Place in West Hollywood. It has top notes of champagne, pink peppercorn, and berry; middle notes of peony, rose, freesia, and jasmine; and base notes of amber, sandalwood, and musk.

I have no doubts that this will be everyone's favourite fragrance and if you are a fan of the Rose Hair and Body Oil, then this is the fragrance for you.  It lasts a long time once spritzed and it is divine.  I need this as a bath oil or candle next!

Mercer Street - This is a New York–inspired scent and like Melrose place it really packs a punch with its scent. With top notes of lily, orange, and peony meld, then we have the middle notes of magnolia, jasmine, and Turkish rose.

It has base notes of musk and orris. What I love about this scent is that it is incredibly fresh and has a touch of citrus and it is the same fragrance from the brand's shampoos and it especially reminds me of the Repair Shampoo which is sitting in my bathroom.

The final two fragrances, which I have been lucky enough to test are also stunning. First up is Rue St. HonorĂ© and it was inspired by the famous street in Paris. It has a top note of violet mingles with middle notes of gardenia and ylang-ylang and finally, there is a base note of musk. Again, it smells just incredible and a little more sophisticated than Melrose Place and Mercer Street but if you like the Ouai Hair Oil, which is one of the brands best sellers, then you will love this . Then finally, North Bondi fragrance, which is inspired by Bondi Beach in Australia. It has top notes of Bergamot, Apple Blossom, Raspberry, and Italian Lemon. Then we have middle notes of Rose de Mai, Jasmine, and Violet and finally base notes of Patchouli, Sandalwood, and White Musk.  If you have used Ouai's Wave Spray then you will love this scent because that is exactly what the scent is, quite fresh with a nice mixture of fruitiness.

I was really excited about these fragrances when I was told they would be appearing in the UK and they have really been worth the wait, they smell incredible, they look luxurious with their all white boxes and packaging and they are just divine and all for just £46 each. Each of these fragrances is free from parabens and animal testing.

I would love to know what you think to these fragrances!
