New Yankee Candle Haul!

I am not too sure that I will ever run out of candles, but my collection has got dangerously low lately and I decided to try some new scents from Yankee Candle and I also bought some lovely new tea-light holders to create my little display.

In keeping with the Christmas Theme, I decided to try a new scent that I had not come across before and the one thing about Asda is that these candles are such good value for money.  The Medium Jar shown above cost just £8.97 and the two samplers are just £1 each.

The scent is simply divine it Yankee Candle describe it as follows:

"bright, fresh and beautiful mix of white musk and sandalwood"

and to me, it reminds me of Christmas as a child when my dad had gone out at the crack of dawn to go and get the Christmas tree and the scent of the pine needles and in the midst of decorating that tree the scent comes alive.

Then I decided that if I am buying the two Samplers, I need something to put them in to make my room look pretty and I settled on these:

The Mosiac Holders are simply stunning and as soon as I saw them, they went into my basket, I love how they light up once the candle has started to burn and they really do look lovely.  add to that the two snowflake ceramic tealight holders which again look stunning and between the four items I spent less than £10 which is amazing.

As you can see, once they are all alight, the display looks really lovely and to give it that Christmas feel I have put my miniature Poinsettia in the middle which I bought from Sainsburys for £1, it was looking a bit dead until I bought it home, re-potted it and gave it some water.

The next Yankee Candle I want to purchase is called Beach Fire and as soon as it is in stock, it is mine.

Have you bought any new candles or discovered any new fragrances?
